Hope Outreach UK is a registered Christian charity, founded in Milton Keynes in 1986. Our purpose is to provide help and encouragement to poor and marginalised people in Sri-Lanka, especially those whose lives have been disrupted and ruined by the ethnic conflict and civil war of the past 25 years.
Hope Outreach UK works in partnership with local people in Sri-Lanka, irrespective of ethnic origin and religion, principally in deprived areas. It is involved in funding self help agricultural and housing schemes and more recently in children’s welfare work, medical, vision and dental clinics.
We hope to play a small part in bringing hope, healing and reconciliation to people who have suffered much and need help to piece their lives together again.
